Eligibility Criteria To qualify for the Job Seeker Visa, you must:

  • Be a non-EU/EEA national.
  • Have at least five years of degree related work experience.
  • Show sufficient funds to support yourself in Germany for 6 months (around €1027 per month that means €1027×6 = €6,162).
  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Completed application forms.
  • Valid passport.
  • Passport photos.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Travel health insurance.
  • Proof of financial resources.
  • CV.
  • Proof of personal status.
  • Cover letter.
  • Proof of academic qualifications.
  • Visa fee payment confirmation (€75).

The fee for visa of any category is €75.00. As a general rule, you can pay the fee in your local currency to the German mission abroad. The maximum fee for a first application for a residence permit and EU Blue Card is €100.00. Between €113.00 and €147.00 are charged for the granting of a settlement permit
