Job Summary

The resort is looking for a cook with strong command over Desi cuisine, including daily Pakistani and Indian dishes. The ideal candidate should also be experienced in preparing international breakfast menus such as French, Italian, Arabian, English, and European breakfasts. Baking and pastry skills are a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Desi Cuisine

• Prepare authentic Pakistani and Indian dishes with consistent taste and presentation.
• Maintain quality standards for daily Desi menu offerings.

International Breakfast

• Execute breakfast menus across multiple cuisines:
  French, Italian, Arabian, English, and European.
• Prepare items for both buffet and à-la-carte service.

Baking & Pastry

• Produce baked goods including croissants, breads, cakes, cookies, donuts, and pastries.
• Apply both traditional and modern baking techniques.

Kitchen Operations

• Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with menu planning and suggest new dishes.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report issues promptly.
• Manage ingredient stock levels and place orders when required.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
• Work closely with the kitchen manager to meet service requirements during busy hours.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or busy kitchen environment.
• Strong expertise in Pakistani and Indian cuisine.
• Ability to prepare multinational breakfast menus.
• Baking and pastry preparation experience.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene (HACCP certification is a plus).
• Ability to work under pressure and during peak service hours.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be eligible for UAE visa sponsorship (provided by employer).
